Her most recent publication, Purgatory, is a historical novel based on the Otahuhu murders of 1865 and was published by Penguin in June 2014. Rosetta Allan is an Auckland-based writer who grew up in Hawke’s Bay. ![]() She is the publisher at Anahera Press, which has the kaupapa/mission statement to publish work that fosters the telling and recognition of culturally diverse stories. Kiri Piahana-Wong is a poet and editor whose debut poetry collection, Night Swimming, was published in 2013. Submissions are now open for JAAM 33, which will be guest-edited by Auckland based writers Kiri Piahana-Wong and Rosetta Allan. ![]()
